Effective date: 24 Oct 2026
The Plain Desk YouTube Automation ("the app") is a private tool used by its owner to manage his own YouTube channels. This page explains, in plain English, what data the app uses and how.
The data is used only to manage the owner's own channels: uploading videos (always as private first), scheduling publication, writing and updating metadata, and reviewing analytics. It is not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
Google OAuth credentials are stored only inside the owner's self-hosted n8n server. They are never stored in a web browser, and never on this website.
We do not sell or share any data with third parties. The only exceptions are processing by Google/YouTube APIs, which is needed to perform the actions above, and the AI providers used to draft text such as titles and descriptions. Only the text needed for drafting is sent to them.
The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is not transferred except as described above, not used for advertising, and not read by humans except where needed for security, legal compliance or with the owner's consent.
Data is kept only as long as needed to run the automation. Logs and cached metadata are removed when no longer needed. You can ask for any stored data to be deleted by emailing the contact address below; we will delete it within 30 days.
You can revoke the app's access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
